Statement: Thirty years into my forty-five years of practicing law in Ukiah, a forensic CPA from Santa Rosa came to my office to assist me with a case. He saw my collection of Norfolk Pine bowls I had purchased at various times in Hawaii which were displayed in my conference room. He asked me if I had turned them. I laughed and said if I could do that, I would not be doing this. He had recently become a turner and invited me to his home to teach me how to turn a bowl—starting with a log. After spending half a day with him, I was hooked. |
