Northcoast Artist member, Sarah Logan, will be showing her beautiful wood-fired ceramics this weekend, August 5-7, at the annual ACCA show at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center, Festival Pavilion. Visit her at Booth #233.
Still pullin' out pots from the kiln. The unloading is going slow because I messed up my back while glazing and loading and it's taking some time to heal. Over the next few days I should be able to post some more images. — Cliff
I made these tiles for my home studio/gallery years ago and I'm only now getting them into the kiln. Ugh! It's so dismaying, if you think about it, how much time goes into all the other stuff you need to do to make your work visible and available to the public. But that's what we do. I'm not complaining (too much); everyone's in the same boat. Northcoast Artists Gallery is unusual in that, at least here, we share all the jobs which are necessary for a business to succeed. — Cliff

Lisa's been hard at work preparing for her upcoming June show at Northcoast Artists. During the summer, First Friday receptions at the gallery are quite the happening (as well as all the galleries in Fort Bragg), so make an effort to stop by. You'll be glad you did. Below are a few of the many works Lisa has finished for her show.
Quite a few of Northcoast Artists' potters participated in last April's wood firing at Nick Schwartz's Flynn Creek Anagama. Here's a short video which documented the event. -- Cliff Glover
